Qualification:
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized education Board/ Institution for all categories.
- Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher education.

- Male: 170 cm for General Category, 168 cm for eligible reserve Categories
- Female: 158 cm for General Category, 156 cm for eligible reserve Categories
- Chest:
- Male: 83 cms (un-expanded) to 87 cm (expanded) for General Category, 81 cms (un-expanded) to 85 cm (expanded) for eligible reserve Categories
- Female: Nil
(PST)
- Male: 2.5 Kilometer Race in 12 Minutes
- Female: 1.0 Kilometer Race in 6 Minutes
- Ex-Serviceman: 1.0 Kilometer Race in 5 Minutes
