Qualification
- For Assistant Teacher (LP): Candidates should possess Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and 2-year D.Ed or 4 years B.Ed. or 2-Year Diploma in Education and Passed in Assam TET/ CTET.
- For Asst Teacher (UP): Graduation with 2 Year D.Ed, B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. and Passed Assam TET/ CTET.
- For Science Teacher (UP): B. Sc. having Science as one of the subjects with 2 Year D.Ed, B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. and Passed Assam TET/ CTET.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2023)
- Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit for Ex-Servicemen: 42 years
- Maximum Age Limit for OBC/ MOBC: 43 years
- Maximum Age Limit for SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 45 years
- Maximum Age Limit for Persons with Disability (PwD): 50 years
- A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years
- Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.
