Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Constable position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2024):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.
Qualification:
- Candidates should have passed the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
- The applicant must be able to speak, read, and write the Bengali language.
- Physical Measurement:
- Detailed physical measurement requirements are specified for both male and female candidates in various categories. Make sure to check the official notification for precise details.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male Candidates: 1600 meters Run within 6 minutes and 30 seconds
- Female Candidates: 800 meters Run within 4 minutes
- Third Gender Candidates: 800 meters Run within 3 minutes and 30 seconds
- Ex-servicemen (above 35 years of age) PET:
- Male Candidates: 800 meters Run within 3 minutes and 30 seconds
- Female / Third Gender Candidates: 800 meters Run within 4 minutes and 30 seconds
